"My work explores the intersection of painting and sculpture using a language of form through abstract, linear, and sequential compositions. Repetition becomes both structure and ritual, as each mark is placed with deliberate care. The process is labor-intensive, requiring sustained attention and patience, yet it unfolds in a calm, meditative rhythm. Through this focused making, time slows and subtle variations begin to emerge within ordered systems. Texture plays a central role, built gradually through accumulation rather than gesture. Lines interact and shift, creating surfaces that invite close looking and contemplation. While the work follows a disciplined approach, it resists rigidity - each piece evolves intuitively, allowing for moments of deviation and discovery. The result is a body of work that is both structured and deeply personal: quiet yet complex, restrained yet immersive.
